Our Dream
Our dream at Riverside Community Church is to be welcoming and relevant to this generation, connecting people to Jesus Christ that they would be transformed by the power of God’s love and empowered by the Holy Spirit to change the world around them.
Core Values
At RCC we strive to REVERE God with our worship, CONNECT with others in authentic community, and CONTRIBUTE to God’s plan for mankind.
Revere:
We are active responders to the grace and mercy of God. With our words and our actions we seek to honor and pursue the One who knows us best and loves us most. Weekly gatherings that are culturally relevant and biblically based provide an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to restore our souls and redirect our lives so we may better love God and others.
Connect:
We understand that God created us for community and we are better together than on our own. Because authentic relationships in small groups are the best way to foster real life change, we connect together weekly in small groups to grow spiritually, develop meaningful, healthy friendships, and experience genuine Christian community.
Contribute:
We find true life in giving it away. As one popular writer said, “It’s not about you.” The journey to self is a dead end street, but the journey to others leads ever higher and longer. We believe that all people matter to God and every Christ-follower has the privilege and responsibility to extend God’s care through his or her time, talent, and treasures.

Affiliations
Riverside Community Church is affiliated with the Assemblies of God – an international network of churches united in theology and mission. This network of churches is a cooperative fellowship - that allows autonomy to local churches and encourages self-government. While the churches are autonomous, the Assemblies of God does hold the ministry credentials of the pastors for the sake of accountability - ensuring moral, ethical, and theological standards outlined in Scripture. Riverside Community Church is a member of a network of churches around the world that are taking the purpose-driven principles and adapting them to meet their cultural needs. The PD Community is designed to help participating churches tap into the wealth of information of all purpose-driven churches, including common experiences, models, tools, events and best practices. Riverside Community Church is a member of the Willow Creek Association which exists to serve the local church, and since 1992, the WCA has been linking like-minded, action-oriented churches with each other with strategic vision, training, and resources. Our vision is that every church would reach its fullest God-given potential–reaching seekers, building believers, and changing communities. The WCA has over 9800 Member Churches from over 90 denominations and 35 countries. Member churches confirm a shared commitment to Christ and a passion for building believers and reaching the unchurched.
