Ready For Action
Kent Street (412-242-4374)
Do you find yourself wishing you could remember a passage from the Bible when you are trying to share your faith with others or are facing stressful times? Do you find that when you are faced with sinful choices, you cannot remember the Word of God to help you overcome sin? In this small group, we will memorize, discuss and apply a Bible verse each week to equip you with God's word as you go about your daily life. Think of all the information you know by heart – your address and phone number, all the people you know by name, details about your job, facts and figures about your favorite sport or hobby, and much more. Imagine how powerful it would be if you had verses from the Bible that you could remember as easily. Anything is easy to memorize when you really have an interest in it. Using the Navigators Topical Memory System as a guide, each week we will memorize, discuss and apply the Scriptures to help us become fully devoted disciples of Christ and to develop disciple makers who will be willing to meet with other believers to disciple them.

This group provides an excellent way for you to both help the church with your time as well as fellowship with others from the RCC family no matter what site you attend. By using volunteer work instead of hiring a landscaping service, the church saves money each year to redirect to missions and other causes. Those who sign up will be notified what the schedule will be for the Spring season. Supporting this group improves the image of the church in the community and provides first time visitors with a positive first impression.

MARRIAGE
The Five Love Languages
Larry & Kaye Forbes (412-828-7676)
Hooray! Vacation season is here! Some of you are vacationing in a foreign country and are brushing up on and becoming fluent in the language spoken there to get the maximum out of your trip. You are investing in your vacation. Why not brush up and become fluent in the love language that speaks to your spouse and fills up their “love tank” under your own roof? We could make our homes a paradise we would not want to leave. Can you imagine? Ever feel like you're in a foreign country without leaving home? Are there fireworks and it isn't even the Fourth of July? Was the last gift you gave your spouse a ten or a two? Maybe it is because your spouse is frustrated and unhappy because you aren't speaking his or her love language. We can get help for all these situations in our marriages. Peace and harmony can prevail! Join us as we take an exciting road trip together and bring adventure, excitement and joy into our marriages.
