FIREWORKS TENT: This year Nexus Student Ministry will be running a fireworks tent at the Exxon gas station in Harmarville.  We will be raising money for our own Student Ministry as well as help provide money toward the cost of another van for Missionaries Kevin and Sandy Barner in Moscow.  We will be open June 23 - July 5.  We sell a variety of products from TNT Fireworks Company that are safe and fun for the whole family. Come and see us, buy something, tell people it’s there, send your friends and family!

BABY DEDICATIONS Sunday, July 13.  If you regularly attend RCC, are part of the RCC family and would like to have your infant/child dedicated, please pick up a copy of the application and information sheet at the Connection Center.  All applications must be submitted to the Church Office by Sunday, July 6.

MISSION EXPRESS CONTINUES with great success.  All registered elementary kids should be dropped off at the Student Life Center Tuesday, July 8, 15, and 22 at 9:00 AM and picked up at 12:00 PM in their zone location.

MISSIONS PRAYER Sunday, July 13 at 6:00 PM in Room 105.  This gathering will include a time of information and announcements, as well as focused prayer for local, cross-cultural and international missions.

STEPHEN MINISTRY SUPERVISION Sunday July 13 at 6:00 PM in the Library.  All Stephen Ministers and facilitators are asked to attend.

SPONSORS ARE NEEDED: You can help sponsor a child who is in need of financial assistance in order to attend Kid’s Summer Camp.  The total cost of camp this year is $190.00 per child. BENEFIT CONCERT (“A CIRCUS LIFE”) on Friday, July 18 at 7:30 PM at the Student Life Center.  Come join us for a night of praise and worship with original songs by Elise Hindmarsh.  Admission is free!  Donations being accepted to support missionary training in New Zealand with “Youth With A Mission” (YWAM).

SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP ORIENTATION: Saturday, August 2 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Student Life Center. Lunch will be provided. This orientation is for anyone who is interested in leading/facilitating a small group during the upcoming Fall Semester. BEACH ESCAPE 2008 “On The Water” August 4-8.  This annual beach trip is for students in grades 6-12.  The cost is $150.  You can pick up forms at the Connection Center at Oakmont and the student ministry table at the Mills.

MARRIED LIFE SEMINAR: Friday and Saturday, September 26-27 at the Student Life Center. The goal of Married Life is to help you have a healthy marriage.  Married Life is an environment designed to encourage your hearts, draw you together and offer you six essentials for a healthy marriage.  This upcoming seminar will focus on the fourth essential, “Nurture Romance.”  Interested couples should fill out a Registration Form (available at the Connection Center) and submit it along with the $25 payment to the church office.  If you have questions please contact Pastor David Kennard at kennard@riversideconnect.org.
