Riverside Community Church (RCC) is located in the beautiful town of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, a suburban community northeast of Pittsburgh on the Allegheny River.

Historical Background:
Riverside Community Church was a church planting effort of the Southwest Pennsylvania Section of the Assemblies of God. Formerly known as Penn Hills Assembly of God, meeting in the Masonic Hall, the church was established in August 1986.

Two years later the Reverend Bill Ellis was asked to come to Penn Hills, and in November 1988 was installed as the first full-time pastor. From the faithfulness of a small core of people, God continued to bless and increase the church. In June 1993 the former Riverside Presbyterian Church facility was purchased and the name changed to Riverside Community Church.
